We recently served as the “hosting FBO” for the Special Olympics this year. What a great experience for everyone at Hill Aircraft. It was thrilling to serve and assist the athletes, coaches, and supporters during this event.
One of the newest Phillips 66® Aviation-branded dealers, Hill Aircraft may never have existed had a doctor not noticed that Guy Hill, Sr. had a pulse, long after being declared dead from a 1942 Navy training flight. But then Hill was nothing if not tenacious. Hill cheated death, rebuilt his FBO after a fire destroyed his uninsured facility, and even stole his own aircraft back from a Mexican government determined to keep it.
Today’s Hill Aircraft family ownership and executive corps includes Hill Jr., his mother Annie Hill, Anna Hill Miller, Pat Hill Camp, Larry and Carol Hill Westbrook and Sharon Hill Fields. The company has been named one of the two top FBOs in the state of Georgia for seven of the last eight years by Aviation International News.
